Esperanto: an interesting Option for International Films

Esperanto is an auxiliary language spoken in many countries worldwide, thus, an interesting option for International Films.

We have talked about this subject in a previous post here, but this time we want to include a list of Films where the story characters speak Esperanto or the film includes Esperanto subtitles.

Among professionally-produced Esperanto films, the list includes titles such as: Incubus (with William Shatner), La Patro, Angoroj, Gerda Malaperis, and Senmova. Of course, all film titles above were chosen using Esperanto Language, and these are only a few examples of a longer list of Esperanto Films available. For a more complete list, you can visit the following (Esperanto) website: More Esperanto Films.

In case you’re wondering what Esperanto sounds like, I’m including below the Incubus film trailer I found in Youtube:

More on movie quotes from X-men film file

Continuing with a series of movie quotes, here’s one from the X-Men Film series:

X-Men Film: “We’re the next stage of human evolution.”

Now that’s a pretty interesting piece of story dialogue that can make us think about the present global situation. All of these global climate changes, struggling leadership removals, devastating earthquakes, etc… what are they telling us?

Could this movie quote become part of human beings as some point in the future?
Will we have to evolve in order to stand global changes?

What do you think? If you have any comments or suggestion on other interesting movie quotes, please write to the email account found below.

Love Movie Quotes? Remember Some?

DVD Sale: Pick any 3 for only $20! Oh yes I do. I love movie quotes because they bring back to memory the nice experience I had when I watched the film. Plus, some times I use movie quotes to answer a question that reminds me a related film scene dialogue. Let me give you a few movie quotes from some of my favorite films next:

1) Lovett: “Are you ready to go back to Titanic?”

Guess what film that movie quote is about? Me too, that is an easy one.

Here’s another one from the same film:

2) Rose: “Titanic was called the Ship of Dreams. And it was. It really was.”

Sometimes it’s easy to guess what film they were gotten from, but what about the next movie quote?:

3) “How do we keep our balance?… Tradition!”

I love that film so much that I had to purchase the DVD. Can you guess what movie the above quote is about? Think, think… guessed? Good! If not, here’s a hint: it has to do with a small village in Anatevka… got it? Good! If not, here’s another hint: the film title starts with “The Fiddler on…”  – got it? Good!… The Fiddler on the Roof. Right.

Movie quotes to think about

Here is a movie quote from the X-men film files which could very well apply to many real situations…

‘Killing Shaw will not bring you peace.’

We could replace the name “Shaw” for any other name you can think of, in any situation you can think of. If everyone of us could make this his own real-life quote, the world would be a little different than what it is right now.
